Review: Wickles Wicked Okra

Okra is a fun vegetable, isn't it? There are so many ways to enjoy okra and I know that when it comes to okra, I can't resist it.

I have never heard of pickled okra until I moved here in the South. Mind you, pickled okra is addictive! I have tried different brands and so far, the Wickles Wicked Okra is on top of the list. Every bite of this product is worth savoring. There is something in each bite that wants you to crave for more. I like the combination of sour, sweet and spicy. It is just delicious!

What makes Wickles wicked okra different is its ingredients. The custom blend of spices and other ingredient is their secret. This pickled okra comes from a 70-year old family recipe that was enjoyed by family and friends who were lucky enough to get a jar. It was only few years ago when they decided to market it because of the demand.

Wickles Wicked okra is wickedly delicious and if you enjoyed them you will surely enjoy their other products like:
  • Wickles Pickles
  • Wickles Relish
  • Hoagie and Sub Relish
  • Wicked Pepper Rings
  • Wicked Pepper Strips

I used to hate okra because they look slimy and gooey to me. But lately I started loving it especially when I put it in my sinigang and besides husband loves it so that gives me incentive to start eating it. We sometimes fry it with a breaded coating, yummy and addicting. I haven’t tried pickled okra yet and that looks good. Makes me drool already :D
