Clubhouse

This is one of the best clubhouse sandwiches in Manila. I decided to treat my friends with some American food and we end up eating at Dillinger's. They restaurant is an American dining place. True enough even their plates and other utensils are American style. The plates were huge like the ones they use in America. The food was good.

Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich

I love the toasted sesame bun in Arby's. This is Arby's super roast beef sandwich. It is made of thin slice of oven roasted beef with lettuce and tomato topped with their special sauce. This taste really good!

Dan's Sandwich

This is how Dan's sandwich looks like. I had the chance to watch Mom made this sandwich.

Ingredients:
2 pcs Italian sliced bread
mustard
beef roast
turkey
maple glazed ham
baby swiss cheese
baby spinach
butter

Directions:
  • Spread enough mustard in both pieces of Italian bread
  • Put ample amount of beef roast, turkey and maple glazed ham
  • Top will plenty of baby swiss cheese and fresh baby spinach
  • Heat the griddle and add a little butter
  • Brown both sides of the sandwich

  • Slice in half and serve.
The sandwich looks really good but too bad I am not a fan of mustard and baby swiss cheese. I am not sure of the baby spinach too ....
------------------

For my sandwich, instead of mustard I use mayonnaise, instead of swiss cheese I use American cheese and instead of baby spinach i use lettuce. The combination of roast beef, maple glazed ham and turkey is just so yummy!

Anyway, I made a tuna sandwich with the following:

Ingredients:
1 small can tuna in chunks (drain)
mayonnaise
pepper
pickle relish
boiled egg (diced)
onion (diced)

Directions:

Mix altogether. Spread in a whole wheat bread.

Turkey Club Sandwich

I was looking forward for our last weekend visit to Killen because I was really planning on eating a turkey club at Shoneys. A few years back, Shoney's was everywhere but sadly, there is no Shoney's that is close to where we live.

Anyway, here's my turkey club...

Who could resist this turkey club? It is made of toasted bread with bacon, turkey, lettuce, tomato and cheese? Of course this is big for me but hey what is the use of those to go boxes?
