Buy Generic Products and Save!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Whenever I do our grocery shopping, I always complain how expensive things are. Despite the fact that I make sure that I use coupons and buy sale items, a $100 worth of grocery is no longer enough for us. Things are getting expensive everyday.

I have learned to buy and appreciate store brand products. There are certain store brands that doesn't have any difference with the national label products. They may differ in their packaging because generic labels are not as fancy as the brand-name products. The main reason of buying generic product is to save money. These are the 10 Products to Always Buy Generic:
  1. Over the counter medications
  2. Cereal
  3. Pantry Staples
  4. Soda
  5. Gasoline
  6. Electronic Cables
  7. Make-up and other beauty products
  8. Batteries
  9. Salad mix and produce
  10. Infant formula
I admit that I buy most of these items and I know I already saved a lot. When my daughter was still using infant formula, I didn't have qualms of giving her a store brand formula because I know that the same with any other expensive brands, all store brand formulas meet the same nutrient specifications, which are set at levels to fulfill the needs of infants. All infant formulas are subject to the same regulations governing manufacturing and ingredients as stipulated by the Infant Formula Act. If you want to save yet not sacrificing the quality of your infant's formula, buy a store brand formula. These formulas are certified by the FDA as good and healthy for your baby.

We used Parent’s Choice for our twins… I couldn’t believe how much money we saved in the time that we spent formula feeding. Nearly $1400! I have told so many people about the Parent’s Choice formula finder and savings calculator that is on their website (http://parentschoiceformula.com), and they have found it to be really helpful! I know that a lot of parents are concerned that if they don’t spend the higher price, they won’t be giving their little one the proper nutrition. Something I learned in my research before choosing Parent’s Choice, was that the FDA regulates the infant formula manufacturers, so all formulas are nutritionally equal. Why pay the higher price? We loved Parent’s Choice, and my girls did very well with it..
