Pochero

Food Trippers, my entry for this week is Pochero. I didn't make this but it was served to us when we attended a party last week.

Ate Angie, a good friend of ours, invited us to an "adult party" in celebration with their 17th wedding anniversary. We had a great time with her prepared filipino food. Her pochero was so good! As in I am giving her a 10 for her pochero.

I remember when I was still in Manila, we always "sawsaw" our pochero with patis and kalamansi. Enjoy my entry food trippers. For more of these yummylicious foods please visit Food Trip Friday.

i was surprised when i first tried Pochero in Cebu---ganito din, bulalo with corn and cabbage. Our beef pochero has tomato sauce, cabbage, saba and camote, bichuelas and Baguio beans.:p

Luna and I have the same kind or type of Pochero in mind. In Manila, we simply called your entry Bulalo, but it doesn't matter, for me they are both the best! as in "sabaw pa lang, ulam na" :D

Wow I love pochero. Too bad my kids don't like it that's why I can't cook it. I love the sauce since it has tomato sauce in it plus the tangy flavor of chorizo de bilbao. Thanks for the post. God bless.
