Bistek ( Beef Steak)

This is a traditional filipino recipe. In our family, this is often served during fiesta. Mainly because, there is plenty of meat during fiesta celebration. Besides, we eat more vegetables and fish in the Philippines rather than meat in our day to day living.

Beef tenderloin
Dale's seasoning
powdered garlic
black pepper
olive oil
powdered onion
1 tbsp sugar

Cut beef in small thin slices and pound it with meat tenderizer. Seasoned it with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and sugar. Add dale's seasoning, olive oil and lemon. Mix well. Marinate for at least an hour ( I marinated it overnight for better taste).

Cook it in the skillet. After boiling, simmer until sauce thickens.

Serve with rice
