Graeter's Ice Cream

My family can't resist ice cream. We always have a tub of ice cream or two in our freezer. When it comes to ice cream, even if it is winter, my family still eats them.

We have tried Graeter's ice cream and we all agreed that it is the best ice cream. It is very creamy and very delicious. I was very fortunate that I got 4 pints of Graeter's Ice Cream to try and review. I got the following flavors in the box: Mint, Black Raspberry, Vanilla and Chocolate. My daughter just loves the mint flavor and hubby's new favorite is the black raspberry.

Graeter's Ice Cream uses French Pot process in making their ice cream. French pot process makes only 2-gallons at a time with all-natural ingredients such as heavy cream and pure cane sugar. You can find Graeter's at one of their stores in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky. You can also order Graeter's as they ship it anywhere in the US (except Alaska and Hawaii and PO Boxes)! Graeter's is available in more than 1,400 Korger-owned stores around the country and expanding. In Alabama, you can find these Ice Cream at Publix Stores and Winn-Dixie. These are also available in Fresh Market.

Graeter's History:

Since its founding in 1870 by Louis C. Graeter, Graeter's French Pot Ice Cream, handmade chocolate confections and fresh baked goods have become traditions in the Queen City. Today the Graeter family still faithfully uses his century old recipes and methods of production.

Another yumminess fo dessert :-) The process of making their ice cream is different and I just heard of it here, very interesting. I bet it will take them longer to make a lot since it's ony 2-gallons at a time.
