Buttered Asparagus

Asparagus provides a wide variety of antioxidant nutrients, including vitamin C, beta-carotene, and the minerals zinc, manganese, and selenium. The fleshy green spears of asparagus are both succulent and tender and have been considered a delicacy since ancient times.

A bunch of asparagus can be expensive especially if it is not in season. But if you buy them around this time, the price is manageable. That is why I bought some !

This is how I made my buttered asparagus

Ingredients:
Asparagus
Butter
Pepper
Dash of salt

Directions:
  • Wash the asparagus
  • Melt butter in a pan
  • Add asparagus, season with pepper and dash of salt
  • Cook until tender
  • Serve
