Fried Fish Eggs

Fish eggs are my dad's favorite. I remember the last time we dined at a famous seafood restaurant in our place, he ordered the biggest fish eggs there. Dad loves fish eggs cooked in banana leaves. It is like grilling it but inside the banana leaves.

When we went to Mobile I was surprised that Dave wanted to buy fish eggs. He told me that they use to eat fish eggs when they were young.

Here's the fried fish eggs...

Ingredients:
fish eggs
corn meal
pepper
garlic salt
oil for frying

Directions:
  • Mix cornmeal, garlic salt and pepper
  • Dredge fish eggs in the cornmeal mixture. Set aside.
  • Heal oil and fry fish eggs until golden brown
  • Drain excess oil.
  • Serve with ketchup.
