Pancit Palabok

Pancit Palabok is one of my favorites. This dish requires a lot of effort but it is worth it. I always remember when we go to Jollibee I always order pancit palabok. As I promised, I am posting here a nice and yummy food in celebration of my PR (hehehe).

Ingredients:
Rice noodles

garlic
ground pork
shrimp
squid
palabok mix
ground pork rinds

For garnishing:
ground pork rinds
shrimp (cooked, whole)
cooked eggs (slice)
spring onion (chopped)

Directions:
  • Cook rice noodles (al dente). Set aside
  • Prepare the sauce. Saute garlic. Add ground pork and cook until brown. Add squid and shrimp. Season with palabok mix. Add half of the ground pork rinds.
  • Add rice noodles to the sauce. Mix thoroughly.
  • Garnish with sliced eggs, shrimp, spring onions and ground pork rinds.

Note: There is no available "tinapa" in our place. In place of the "tinapa" is the ground pork. I wish there is kalamansi here too. In place of kalamansi a zest of lemon or lime will do.
