Sweet, Sour and Spicy Beef Heart

This is somewhat an experiment for me to cook beef heart. As it turn out, the recipe was superb! You might want to try it yourself.

Sweet, Sour and Spicy Sauce
sweet chili sauce
cornstarch (dissolve in water)

  1. Trim beef heart and cut in cubes (bite size). Boil in water seasoned with garlic, onion, salt, pepper. Cook until well done. Remove and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce. Melt butter in the pan. Add sweet chili sauce and sugar. Stir frequently. Add dissolve cornstarch. Cook until desired consistency is attained.
  3. Mix cooked beef heart and sauce.
  4. Serve.

Note: Please adjust salt and sugar depending on your taste

That looks YUMMY! yum yum haha.I think I haven't tried beef's heart.And I haven't seen it in the butcher,siguro walang lang ko mo pansin?:D

Thank you sa comment dear. It is indeed hard to adjust oy.I needed to consider all my moves,parang there's no freedom ba kumbaga. It's better living with my entire siblings, 8 sila pero ako ang reyna :D.Joking aside,mahirap makikitungo sa di mo kadugo,you're right at that.
