When we go out and eat at any Chinese restaurant, I often wonder how they make their sweet and sour chicken and how eager I was to cook something like that.
Since I had some spare time, I decided to make this sweet and sour recipe.
Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken Breast (cut in tiny strips)
Oil for frying
Batter:
Water
Yeast
Egg
Flour
dash of salt and pepper
Sauce:
catsup
flour
sugar
vinegar
soy sauce
Directions:
To make the batter: Mix all ingredients and beat until fluffy.
Dip chicken nibblets to the batter. Deep fry. Drain and set aside.
To make the sauce: Mix all the ingredients. Bring to boil until sauce thickens, stirring frequently.
Pour over chicken nibblets.
Serve.
