I like the idea of having a garage because it will be safe for your car to be in there. Besides, you can also put some things in your garage. A garage is an extra storage place for your important valuables. I believe that it is not very hard to maintain a garage especially if you are using expoxy garage floor coating.
My mom-in-law's garage is very nice. There is an airconditioner / heater that is installed in it because their 2 basset hounds stay in their garage. I would prefer to have a garage myself when we have our own home.
