Yay! "Singkamas!". It is called Jicama here.

I remembered going my days in Manila. I often see this food soaked in water and vendors are selling them in their push carts. You can either request to top it with shrimp paste or to just sprinkle some salt in it. This is really good to quench your thirst as it is very watery.
