Most seniors that I know here in the USA are very independent. I guess it is part of the culture that they grew up with. They don't want to hassle their family and kids about their daily living. It also makes a difference that there are Independent Living communities here that they can live. These communities are perfect for seniors. They can live leisurely and hassle-free because these communities offer services and features like weekly housekeeping, scheduled transportation, activities and programs.
Despite having health conditions, there are also seniors that still don't want to rely on their family. They tend to continue living on their own. Thankfully, there are Assisted Living facilities which are dedicated for those individuals who require some additional assistance with daily activities. These facilities will provide help with meals, bathing, dressing, housekeeping, and other needs. One can also opt for customized care services depending on an individual's needs.
