We saw some fresh snap beans sold by a gardener and we bought one basket full. Dave made a boiled snap beans and it was a lot better than the canned one. Nothing beats fresh veggie of course.
Ingredients:
Snap beans
salt
bacon
pepper
water
Direction:
- Wash the beans and snap
- In a large casserole, put the beans, bacon and water
- Season with salt and pepper
- Bring to boil. Slow cook until tender
- Serve (as a side dish)
