Boiled Snap Beans

Andrea and Dave likes to eat the green beans in can. They usually eat it as side dish of whatever meat I am cooking. I can't eat canned green beans. It has this smell that I can't stand.

We saw some fresh snap beans sold by a gardener and we bought one basket full. Dave made a boiled snap beans and it was a lot better than the canned one. Nothing beats fresh veggie of course.


Ingredients:
Snap beans
salt
bacon
pepper
water

Direction:
  • Wash the beans and snap
  • In a large casserole, put the beans, bacon and water
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Bring to boil. Slow cook until tender
  • Serve (as a side dish)
