This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Wheat Food Council. All opinions are 100% mine.

Wheat is the most consumed grain in America. They are consumed in the form of bread, pasta, tortilla and more. Did you ever wonder how wheat works and how it gets to our plate? Are you curious to know the wheat journey from the time its seed is planted until it appears on our plate and ready to be consumed?

How Wheat Works which can be found in howwheatworks.com has an interactive program that allows participants of all ages to plant, harvest, mill, bake and virtually eat their wheat. The program spans the course of four days. Each of the program’s four phases take just few minutes to complete. The program's four phases are growth, harvest, milling/baking and the grocer’s aisle. This program will let you experienced and learn the wheat journey. By participating into this program, Wheat Foods Council will donate two pounds of flour for every participant. The council will donate up to 90,000 pounds, to Operation Homefront. This is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to needy U.S. troops and their families. The donation is made possible through the support of the two world's largest millers the ADM and ConAgra Mills.
