For this week my entry is a goat dish. This is a very famous filipino dish. Calderetang Kambing. All my brothers love to slaughter a goat and make different dishes out of it... They say that it is really tasty but... goat meat has a smell and after taste that I don't like.

Where did you bought your goat meat? I always use beef or pork with Caldereta, but of course, the authentic one is with Kambing.

I haven't eaten a calderetang kambing although I love the common caldereta^_^

@ Willa... that dish was served to us during my Aunt's bday in Bergen, NJ... they bought the goat meat in New York.. they are close to NY and they can buy a lot of filipino items in NY... they can even buy kalamansi there!

I love caldereta either with cheese or gata ng niyog but haven't tried kambing yet.

I have never eaten goat meat, but I like chicken caldereta or beef caldereta ; )
that's the reason why i don't eat goat meat/kaldereta, coz of the smell...salamat sa dalaw

I always go to Indian and jamaican restaurant to get a taste of goat in my area... yung kalderetang kambing masarap with beer! :)

i haven't tried goat meat for caldereta. i tried beef caldereta though :)
