Beef in Oyster Sauce

When we were in the Philippines last month, we ate in a restaurant that serves sizzling beef in oyster sauce. Dave and I loved it so much. When I got back here, I decided to make something that tastes like the one we had in the Philippines.

Ingredients:

1lb lean beef, cut in small thin pieces
oyster sauce (lots of it)
onion, cut in small pieces
garlic powder
pepper
sugar for extra sweetness


Directions:

Sautee onion until it becomes clear. Add beef. Seasoned with garlic powder, pepper and oyster sauce. Cook beef until tender and sauce becomes sticky. For extra sweetness of the dish add sugar (optional).

Serve over rice!
