Yes... I envy my sister because she was able to feast on these while she went home....
This is a roasted mackerel tuna. In our language we call it "tinap-an"! A fresh mackerel tuna is cooked over charcoal. It is cooked higher than when it is grilled. The fish doesn't touch the charcoal fire to avoid burning. These smells heavenly!
This is sold mostly in the streets in the coastal areas of our province. This is really good when you eat plainly with filipino dipping or you can also put this in your vegetable soup. Whichever, I know I want to eat them!
