I am proud to admit that I am spoiled at home. Yes, spoiled yet I am not bratty. Being the youngest girl in the family has its perks and I am lucky that I am able to enjoy them. I am a daddy's girl. I always think that I have a special bond with my dad. Dad spoils me with little things and in return I showered him with all her tiny and sweet little whims.
Though it has been 5 years since I migrated here in the USA, I still miss being with my family. When special occasion comes, I still longed to be with them. One thing is for sure, I will forever miss home and my family despite having a family of my own. I especially miss my dad during father's day because we always bond together during this special occasion. Thankfully, technology allows me to constantly communicate with him and the whole family.
This coming father's day, I am sending my dad a nice gift. I was looking at some Atomic Watches when I realized that it is the perfect gift for dad. Dad enjoys fishing so a reliable watch is something he can always use to make sure that he can come home on time. Dad always comes home late when he goes fishing because he always forgets the time. With a reliable watch, where he can set an alarm he will be able to come home and time and not worry my mom. When dad comes home late, my mom always worries.

Multivitamins for the Kids
Few weeks ago, I sent two boxes to my family in the Philippines. It has different things in it. There were different goodies inside the box that I am sure that everybody will enjoy to have. One of the things I sent for the kids back home is a package of multivitamins. I am sure the kids can use it. Taking multivitamins will be good for their health. They are active kids and taking multivitamin will stop them from getting sickly.
I can't wait for them to get the box. It will take 2 months to get there but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Sleepless Nights
I had few sleepless nights because I was missing home. My sister had her wedding in the Philippines few days ago and I felt homesick. How I was I was there to be in her special day but there are so many reasons why I can't be there. Anyhow, it doesn't stop me from thinking how nice it would have been if we were there because it was only my family that was not in the Philippines at that time. All my siblings and their families were there. Even the ones that were working abroad came home for the occasion. I can't stop but felt homesick thus I have baggy eyes. Looking at myself in the mirror, I know I needed an eye cream for dark circles.
I am looking forward to see my family in Philippines on our planned vacation. Hopefully everything will be smooth sailing.

Kitchen Talks...
The kitchen has been our favorite place for leisurely talks. Even when I was still in the Philippines, we always have had fun talks in the kitchen. We discuss things while cooking or doing the dishes. We always sit around the table even after we had finished eating. That is somewhat our way of family bonding....
The kitchen has been a witness of all those happy smiles and also tears, of dreams and ambitions... even all those day dreams....
I remember when I was living with my brother in Manila, I always tell him stories about my work at the insurance company. I always tell him how important to have a life insurance. Life insurance is not a very popular topic in the Philippines, in fact it is a taboo subject for ordinary people. After a while I have convinced many of my siblings of the importance of life insurance.
Fast forward.... when I moved here in the USA, most people here knows the importance of life insurance and most people has different kinds of insurance... from home insurance to car insurance to health insurance and to life insurance.... Insurance is very important here. There are a few though that doesn't have life insurance, even if it is just term life insurance due to financial incapacity.
If you are one of those that doesn't have insurance, you need to get an instant online quote because they will give you instant price comparison so you can surely choose the ones that fits your budget.

Lulu's Kitchen... Not Cooking at the Moment
Since I don't feel good, my kitchen has not been busy. We just eat something easy or just buy something to eat. Maybe in few days I will be able to post new mouthwatering recipe. Right now, I am just content to eating what is easy.
I have been planning to make my own version of cashew chicken. Hopefully, I can make it good that way, I can share it here too.

Fish Heads
Peyton, Dave's officemate went to Florida for a fishing trip yesterday. They caught plenty of fish - red snapper to be exact. Those were the biggest red snapper that I have seen in my whole life. Before Peyton left for his fishing trip Dave asked him if he can save the fish heads instead of throwing it away.
Well, to make the story short, they did save the fish heads. As in lot of fish heads for me. Now my freezer is full of fish heads. I am not complaining of course! I love fish and that means fish head included!
Obviously, I will be eating a lot of fish heads in the next couple of days... yeheyyy!
